Eczema Treatment
Overuse of steroid creams for eczema can create stretch marks
While steroid creams and ointments are a quick and successful way to treat eczema, there can be a tendency to overuse the medication. People tend to apply the treatments more often or for longer than their doctor recommends. Then they face the side effects, which can include unattractive stretch marks on the skin where the treatment is applied. These are permanent and will not disappear over time.
