Eczema
Living with Eczema
Where families live can affect whether or not a child has eczema.
Eczema is a condition that is characterized by dry and itchy skin. For some people that condition is triggered by the lack of humidity in the air, which can contribute to the dryness of their skin. That’s why when a family moves to a much dryer climate they might see the first signs of an eczema condition of which they were unaware. Sweating can also exacerbate eczema, so a particularly hot climate might be a trigger.
